Nude Portraits
The opportunity to purchase original watercolours from a large body of existing work or commission a unique nude portrait.
I have been making figurative art for over 40 years. My main body of work is involved with life drawing from the nude, and although the majority of my work is in soluble graphite, over-painted with watercolours, I am also experienced in pastels, coloured pencils or oils.
In addition to more conventional portraits, you can also commission a nude portrait. These can be done in person*, online (via Zoom), or from supplied photographs. Full discretion is assured with no copies being kept of the work, or source material, unless specifically authorised by the sitter. Poses can be whatever the sitter is comfortable with.
The session comprises three five minute preparatory sketches at A3 size , followed by two twenty minute poses drawn and painted on watercolour paper (approx 285x350mm). You receive all of these drawings (unframed in a sturdy mailing tube) for a fee of £150.00 plus postage and packing.
*In person costs are for a full day rate plus travel - a half day rate may be possible depending on your location, please contact me for a quotation.

Pose for me
If you've ever felt the urge to pose nude yourself, or to have your partner drawn, here's your chance. I am taking commissions either online, from photographs or in person* where possible.
Contact me to arrange a one hour session where I will make up to five drawings of you in poses of your choice. This comprises some warm up sketches of five to ten minutes, followed by a longer twenty five minute painting. I then post the resulting unframed work to you.
The cost (online or from photographs) is £150.00 + P&P.
